I had this installed as a part of my new home. Love cooking with gas and this is very efficient. Not a lot of gas needed for each burner. It is nice looking and easy to clean. I don't have young children but having the controls in the front could be a hazard. The black on the iron pieces are scraped off from my guests who cook moving the skillet back and forth to mix contents up.

Failed in just over a year

14K BTU burner failed right at a years time of fairly minor use. WE cook maybe twice a week. To top this off the valve has been on back order for over 6 months. With no offering of hep from manufacturer. The stove top is a hazard as the valve leaks and we had a minor flash and had to cut gas off. Now our only solution since Frigidaire will not step up and at least have a valve available we will have to replace and you can bet it will not be another Frigidaire.

Coming from a 30" gas range, I really appreciate the additional cooking surface and the continuous corner-to-corner grates. It has a good variety of burners for everything from simmering to searing. The grates are heavy duty and the cooktop looks great in my space. That said, I'm disappointed that there is no griddle plate accessory included or available for this cooktop.
