Frigidaire Professional 27'' Double Electric Wall Oven

At 13 months, we realized we were having trouble with our double oven maintaining temperature when we had to throw out a Thanksgiving turkey that had sat for too long in the “danger zone”. Since then, we’ve tested it with several different external probe thermometers in various locations inside the oven. We’ve also tested it by cycling the oven (turning it off and back on again) which causes it to display its own current temperature reading at the start of the preheat. Sometimes we find it is as much as 65 degrees below the target temperature and still none of the heating elements are firing.Now at just under 24 months, it sounds like a freight train when it is operating in regular mode (we don’t use convection mode). It makes a loud and pulsing noise that sounds like some sort of fan and continues long after the oven is turned off. We have taken to leaving the door open after turning it off to release the heat faster so the noise will stop. We are hosting Thanksgiving again this year and hope we will be able to turn out a decently cooked bird without the oven drawing too much attention to itself.Bummer because it is a beautiful piece of hardware in our 2-year-old house, and we would be very happy with it if were operating the way it was intended to.

Installed in new built house in Oct. '16. Love it. I'm tall and it's so nice not to have to bend down or squat to use the oven. Works great.

This double convection oven has been an excellent purchase for us. The features are perfect for my wife and I. Heats great, plenty of cooking space and we like the easy to pull racks that are provided.

The top oven bottom heating element went out after 14 months of occasional use at our lake home. We used the home on weekends only approx. 28 times over 14 months. Very expensive oven to have issues so quickly.

We've had about 6 weeks. Easy installation. Cooks well, we still have to adjust the cooking temperature.
