This looks great and the cooktop works well but the oven temp is not very stable. The controls are confusing and to shut off the timer you have to shut off the entire oven. I have not been able to level the oven so all cakes have been lopsided.

As for cooking on top or in the oven this is by far the best range we have ever had. Wife is amazed with anything baked. Pies come out beautiful and you can do several at a time. Little things. The timer has no seconds, odd. It takes a little effort, force, to get the digital panel to recognize your push. We have had stainless steel tops, never again, any spills near the burner become a major issue to clean. Last range was a GE Pro Line gas with white glass top and white porcelain burner trays, constant hassle cleaning the trays. This time we went black thinking it would be easier to clean, not so much. The display, being black, shows every finger print from every touch and splatters are constant. Now to be honest, that's all part of cooking and cook- this unit does excellent. Do yourself a favor and get a Mystic Maid cleaning cloth. Use water only and those little smudges clean right up. YOU MUST CLEAR THE MAJORITY OF GREASE FIRST with a separate soaped cloth and dry somewhat or the Mystic Maid cloth will not work. They work great on anything shinny or glass to get them streak free.

Had the Whirpool installed in our home, really like it. The burners and the convection oven really cooks every thing perfect'
