Very Disappointed

Duet units cost over $1800. Now the bearings went only 3 1/2 yrs old. Cycle stuck on "8" forever. Clothes would not spin dry. Had to ring out by hand. Could not be fixed (economically) and I have to essentially replace a very young machine. NOT HAPPY

This is my first time ever owning a front load washing machine (builder install) but this Whirlpool Washer has completely converted me!! I am a Believer!! For years I had the standard top loader as I was fearful of bending down to do laundry because of lower back problems. Now I actually look forward to washing clothes without any back discomfort. There are so many options but I LOVE the Express Wash which I use daily. My clothes not only come out cleaner in record time but they are not as beat up or wrinkled like my previous machine. I can also wash larger items like blankets, dog beds and king sheets without worrying about my machine sounding like it is going to break apart. I really can't believe I wasted all these years on conventional washers when this Whirlpool washer has made my life so much easier. So Simple to use. Just Toss and Wash.

Been using mine 5 yrd

I've had my duet a little over 5 yrs. It does a great job. I wish it had shorter cycles, but clothes are always clean. My only complaints are the baby socks getting stuck in the rubber gasket and the door had always had a slight leak.

Broke down after 16 months!

Bought my whirlpool duet 16 months ago, 4 months after the warranty expired and the washer just broke down. The rubber ring tore off and I had water all over the floor. I can't believe that the machine only lasted this long before breaking down. I will never buy another one like this again. Also the spin cycle isn't very good and sometimes leaves clothes quite wet.

Does it's job, except

Small clothing (eg socks) and tide pods constantly get stuck between the glass door and the rubber catchment at the bottom of the door. I think it's due to the concave design. Otherwise it's great. It's just really annoying to fish out the clothes from that stupid shelf. Had it for a year now.
