Frigidaire 18 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator

I purchased new Frigidaire LFTR1832TF 2 yrs ago and continue to have issue with freeser thawing and food freezing in the back of the fridge . First reported problem to Frigidaire in August 2020 and technician came out and said it was air flow blocked by too many item in freezer. Thawed fridge and wrked OK for a few months but same problem keeps happeing so it was not air flow. Very disappointed and cannot get anyone from Fridgidaire to respond to my calls

Do not buy this refrigerator, it broke the first week I bought it brand new and they came and fixed it, but now it's less than 2 years old and is not working at all. It started by everything freezing and now all my food is ruined because it totally doesn't work.

At almost exactly 3 years from my purchase date, I started having issues with the freezer temperature going no lower than 30 degrees. A week later the fridge would not drop below 42 degrees. Tried all troubleshooting steps per the Owners Manual. Nothing worked, so I had an appliance repair service check the fridge. I was notified the entire refrigerant system needed an overhaul. Parts and repair would cost roughly $900, $300+ more than I paid for the fridge. Disappointed is an understatement. I have 4 month old twins who need certain food and formula to be stored in the fridge or freezer and I certainly don’t have the money to buy major appliances every 3 years.

Bought in February 2020 which is less than a year ago. Features are weak plastic. My Deli drawer broke & replacement part is chargeable. Cost is $90. Also shelves on the door broke as well. Condiments all on the floor. Not happy with cheap refrigerator. You get what you pay for!
