Whirlpool 30-inch Electric Ceramic Glass Cooktop

This cooktop is on a Jennair range. While cooking pasta, heard a load pop, then notice a huge crack. This appliance was four years old. That breaks down to about $500.00/year. Not worth it!

I bought this 1 year ago and the top has scratched very badly, it no longer looks very good and if it continues to deteriorate at this rate I will have to replace it. We try to be very careful with it and it works well but it is far too fragile!

We bought this cook top less than two years ago One eye in the back takes an extra long time to heat, but we dealt with it because we don't use that one very often. BUT my big disappointment was the giant chip in the glass. While cleaning up after a normal dinner I cut myself on the edge of the stove. Nothing remarkable had happened but the glass was broken. I don't use heavy iron skillets and have no idea how the chip occurred. But the glass is chipped and there is now a crack going across the corner of the cook top. I would expect something more durable from whirlpool. Super disappointed.

Two years after light use, the largest burnet started either to heat to Max and burn food or does not heat at all. Then stopped working altogether. Very disappointed.

Heats very quickly. Very attractive addition to the kitchen.
