Whirlpool 25 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with In-Door-Ice® System

I bought this refrigerator two years ago and I can't WAIT to replace it!! The ice maker is a nightmare. What I thought would be a great idea, with the ice bucket in the door, has turned out to be disastrous. Half the time, Ice cubes fall everywhere except the basket. I pull more cubes from the bottom of the freezer than from the bucket. In the summer with the humidity, the darn thing freezes up and no ice dispenses AT ALL until it's totally emptied (by hand) and then pushed and pulled and poked with an ice pick to get it dislodged from its base and cleaned out. My advice if you're looking at this refrigerator is to RUN! Oh, yes, and it makes a lot of noise when it's running, too.

The features in this refridgerator are great. One down fall if equipped is the ice maker. The idea on the door is great, but ice cubes sometimes do not fall into the bucket. They fall down to the bottom of the freezer. The in door bin dispenser is also not the best, unless you use ice often daily. The dispenser rod sometimes pushes ice out the dispenser bucket into the freezer.

Overall I like it. Leaves crushed ice falls after glass is removed.
