Frigidaire 20.5 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator

We bought this five years ago. The two outside handles broke off - plastic just broke off when opening the doors. Then the two door trays broke off - again plastic just broke. I cannot believe how cheap this product is. Never again. I see another review of someone complaining of the same broken features so I’m including pictures. It’s the same thing we are Dealing with. I just wanted to put this out there so everyone knows what they’re buying when considering this product. I have never had a refrigerator break off in pieces like this. It’s ridiculous.

After only 5 months the plastic refrigerator handle broke off in my hand. Considered an accessory, it was not under warranty - cost $56 to replace. The freezer door pops open frequently when closing refrigerator door and is barely noticeable, resulting in thawing, freezer burn and high electricity usage. Refrigerator door shelves pop off door, spilling items onto floor when shelves are full. Major design flaws mentioned leave me extremely disappointed with this product. The only reason I would purchase this item again is because I could not find another one the size that I needed to fit the space. Wish I could get a refund.

We purchased this for our unfinished basement so we would have a place on ground-level to store food and drink during BBQs and pool parties, without having to go up the stairs into the kitchen refrig. Purchased for $599 from Best Buy, free delivery and install, lots of storage space, keeps everything nice and cold, so far so good, very satisfied.

I have tried every setting for the freezer and refrigerator and the only ones that keep the freezer and refrigerator cool enough so the food won't spoil are the highest settings on both. I talked to someone at Frigidaire and they said try unplugging it to see if it will reset. That didn't work. I am not pleased with the service or the appliance.
