Frigidaire Gallery 18.2 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator

The size is good and it is very cold. But in 6 months, the top shelf just fell apart. Looks the there was glue used to secure the glass to the frame and it just let go. The front of the frame just split. Appartently, shelves aren't covered under warrenty. $80+ to replace.

We have owned this refrigerator for 1-1/2 months. Although we like the features, size and look, we are not happy with the clunking sound it makes. The serviceman tells us this is the 'flash point' when the condenser changes the gas to liquid. The manufacturer says this sound is within 'normal' limits, we say it is NOT! Very vexing when the living room, dining room and kitchen are an open concept floor plan.

Purchased this refrigerator style to match the range and dishwasher - it is a perfect fit for me. Was pleasantly surprised to see a light in the freezer!

Bought this about a month ago, to replace a 37 year old Frigidaire refrigerator that was still working. I really wanted to go with something that was energy star qualified, which this is! It is however noisier than my old refrigerator… It makes a popping sound as the defrost cycles off and on, which according to my research is normal. I really like the amount of storage space in the door shelves and the smudge resistant stainless steel finish!

I replaced a 21 cu ft 20 year old fridge with this slightly smaller Frigidaire. its a basic refrigerator with no bells and whistles, which is just want I wanted. Ive had it for a month so far and it is relatively quiet, except for an odd clanging sound it makes occasionally. I suspect the defrost cycle....
